Senate approves $200m World Bank loan for Lagos
The Senate on Wednesday approved $200m being the second tranche of a $600m World Bank loan granted to the Lagos State Government under a development policy operation scheme it applied for in 2010.

CBN to deploy new settlement scheme by December 1
Promises nationwide rollout of cash-less policy by June 2014To aid interbank settlement processes within the country, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has disclosed plans to deploy new Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGs) by December 1.
The apex bank also announced of the extension the cash-less policy to other states in the country before June, 2014.
BoI approves third party guarantees for credit facility
The Bank of Industry, BoI, says collateral is no longer an issue for accessing its credit facility as it has designed credit schemes and products that allow reputable persons third party guarantees on loan applications.
